RCMP in Fort Liard say a woman has been arrested following the death of a 34-year-old man in the community.

In a statement issued on Monday, police said they had received a call early on Sunday regarding a man “with life-threatening injuries.”

RCMP said by the time they arrived at the home in question, on Birch Road, the male had died.

Police have arrested a 21-year-old woman in connection with the death. She is scheduled to appear in Yellowknife Territorial Court on Wednesday, October 31.
