Cabin Radio presents three unique Halloween celebrations on Wednesday, October 31.

Adrienne Cartwright hosts Cabin Radio’s Very Classy Halloween Special from 8pm, Wheeler and Ollie host a live video trick-or-treat tour of Yellowknife from 6pm on our Facebook page, and Cabin Radio teams up with the NWT Literacy Council for an International Halloween Show on our live stream at 6pm.

Halloween keeping you busy tonight? From Thursday, you can catch highlights of the Yellowknife video show and listen again to the International Halloween Show as a podcast.

Now in its second year, Cabin Radio’s live Halloween video broadcast – proudly sponsored by Norland Insurance – sees Wheeler, Ollie, and the team traverse Yellowknife in search of the best costumes, spookiest houses, and tastiest candy.

Message our Facebook page if you want the crew to stop at your house or meet your little ones along the way.

The show starts on our Facebook page at 6pm, or you can tune in to our live audio stream for the International Halloween Show.

Taped across five weeks of workshops, the International Halloween Show – in partnership with the NWT Literacy Council – explores Halloween with the help of Cabin Radio’s Ollie Williams, CBC North’s Katie Toth, and youth who grew up in other countries before moving to the Northwest Territories.

Join them for their first pumpkin carving and learn about some of their favourite festivals back home.

At 8pm, as the trick-or-treat traffic dies down, join Adrienne for Cabin Radio’s two-hour Very Classy Halloween Special.

From Bach to Beethoven, Wee Folk to Witches, and more – Adrienne embarks on a spooky journey through the history of the traditions and characters associated with All Hallows’ Eve.
