Yellowknife woman Tina Black safely located after police appeal

Yellowknife RCMP said on Monday Tina Black, a 39-year-old woman declared missing in the city last week, has been safely located.

Tina was reported missing on Thursday afternoon and had not been heard from since last Tuesday.

On Monday morning, police confirmed her safety in a short statement.

“Yellowknife RCMP advise the 39-year-old woman reported missing on November 23, 2018 has been located safe and is no longer considered missing,” the statement read.

“The RCMP thanks the media and the citizens of Yellowknife for their assistance.”
