The City of Yellowknife has opened its community grant scheme to applications for 2019.

Under the scheme, non-profits in Yellowknife can apply for three different types of grant from the City.

The deadline to submit an application is January 30, 2019.

The first type of grant available is a one-year community service grant of up to $10,000, designed to help non-profits start or enhance programming or projects.

Sponsorship grants, worth up to $20,000, can be awarded to non-profits for sponsorship or hosting of an event.

Lastly, up to three larger, three-year grants will be issued to non-profits to help them meet operational requirements or run their programs and projects. Those grants can be worth up to $80,000 per year.

More details, and application forms, are available on the City’s website.
