Yellowknife RCMP are asking for help to locate a suspect following a complaint of an armed robbery early on Monday morning.

Police say a man entered Mac’s Convenience Store holding a knife and demanding the clerk give him cash.

“The suspect is described as being a Caucasian man, 5 ft 10 inches tall, with a slender build, wearing a blue hoody with red lettering on the front,” said RCMP in a statement.

They are asking anyone who was near the intersection of Franklin Drive and Forrest Drive around 4:30am on January 14 to call them at 867-765-3900.
