Yellowknife police issue appeal over wanted man

Police say they need help locating a wanted man last seen on Monday lunchtime in downtown Yellowknife. 

Gary Taylor, 38, is said by RCMP to be wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant related to resisting an officer, cocaine possession, operating a vehicle while disqualified, operating a vehicle while pursued by police, assault, mischief, failure to attend court, and breach of recognizance.

Taylor is described by police as an Indigenous man, 5 ft 7 in tall, with a slender build, short, brown hair, and brown eyes.

He was last seen in the vicinity of 50 Street and 52 Avenue on Monday afternoon at about 12:45pm.
