Police locate missing Behchokǫ̀ woman

Police in the NWT say they have now located a missing 41-year-old woman from Behchokǫ̀.

In a news release on Wednesday afternoon, RCMP said Martha Mantla had been reported missing on Monday, and had not been seen since around noon on Saturday, April 20.

Within half an hour of issuing their public appeal, police said she had been found.


“The RCMP thanks the media and the citizens of Behchokǫ̀ for their assistance,” an updated statement issued shortly before 5pm read.
