Yellowknife RCMP are investigating a reported shooting at one of the city’s downtown apartment complexes.

In a statement on Sunday, police said they had been called to a building they identified as Grayling Manor – also known as Greylyn Manor – on 53 Street, early that morning.

“Yellowknife RCMP attended the location and found a 25-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound,” read the police statement.

RCMP said the man, who was not identified, received treatment in hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening.
