RCMP in Yellowknife are trying to trace a man reportedly seen running from “suspicious” Con Road vehicle fires early on Saturday morning.
Police were called to the Aurora Heights apartment building at 2:20am on Saturday, RCMP said in a statement on Monday.
“Officers arrived on scene to find two vehicles engulfed in flames,” said police, adding the fires “appeared to be intentionally set.”
RCMP report a man was seen fleeing the area. He is described as wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.

Nobody was reported injured.
“The file remains active and ongoing,” said RCMP, who appealed for witnesses to come forward.
