Sprinklers in your home make a huge, huge difference to your ability to get out when a fire starts.
To prove that point, Yellowknife’s firefighters set up two mock bedrooms – one (on the right) with sprinklers, and one (on the left) without.
We gave Jesse the one on the left.
He seemed pretty happy with his new digs… until he realized there was no sprinkler system, and nothing to stop a fire once it starts.
