Few details as police report Yellowknife sudden death
RCMP in Yellowknife have confirmed a man died suddenly early on June 2, but few other details are available.
In a short statement on Friday, police said an investigation had begun.
“A man from Yellowknife was found in medical distress early morning on June 2,” the statement read.
“He was subsequently transported by medevac to Edmonton where he died on June 3.
“NT RCMP is working with NWT Coroner Service and the Alberta Medical Examiner’s Office in an investigation into this death.
“No further information is available at this time.”
No location was given, nor the circumstances of the death or the person’s identity.
However, police hoped someone reading would be able to recognize if they had seen the incident in question.
