Yellowknife woman, 35, safely located after appeal

Police in Yellowknife say a 35-year-old Inuk woman reported missing earlier on Thursday has now been located and is safe.

The woman was the subject of an RCMP news release stating she had been last seen earlier in the week at Circle K, opposite CBC at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Forrest Drive.

Later on Thursday, RCMP – in an update – said the woman had subsequently been located and there was no longer a concern.
