29-year-old killed in Inuvik ATV accident
A 29-year-old man has died after an ATV accident early Saturday morning in the Inuvik area.
Deputy chief coroner Adriana Zibolenova confirmed a second passenger survived with minor injuries. RCMP were called to the scene at around 5:30am on Saturday, August 3.
The precise location of the incident has not been made public.

The victim’s body has been sent out for a post-mortem.
Zibolenova said the coroner’s office does not expect to release the man’s name.
“The community is in pretty big distress at the moment, especially his immediate family,” she said.
