Overturned vehicle shows up in Kam Lake scrubland
Police are investigating after an upturned vehicle appeared on Wednesday morning, some distance from the road in Yellowknife’s Kam Lake.
Witnesses reported the vehicle had come to rest near the Yellowknife Guild of Arts and Crafts building at 113 Kam Lake Road, south of the intersection with Deh Cho Boulevard.
RCMP were unable to confirm reports the vehicle had been stolen.
“On August 7 at 1:15am, the Yellowknife RCMP received a call of service regarding a possible motor vehicle collision in Kam Lake,” police told Cabin Radio by email.
“It is still under investigation. No further details are available.”
