Yellowknife RCMP say 36-year-old man safely located

Yellowknife RCMP say a 36-year-old man reported missing earlier on Tuesday has now been safely located.

Earlier, police had said a man last seen in the Williams Avenue area on Sunday had gone missing.

Police were concerned as the man was not from Yellowknife and, they said, did not have known friends in the city.

However, on Tuesday evening, RCMP in an emailed update wrote: “The 36-year-old man missing in Yellowknife has been located safe and sound.”
