Police say a 26-year-old man from Grande Prairie, Alberta has been charged with drug-related offences after two Yellowknife apartment buildings were searched.
RCMP said officers arrested Salah Omar after a search of two Con Road apartment complexes on Wednesday evening.
Police gave no details about what had been discovered during the operation, but said their investigation is ongoing.
Omar is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing a peace officer, and breach of recognizance.

He was out on a recognizance after being charged by Grande Prairie RCMP in relation to another drug-trafficking investigation in September 2018.
