Highway 3 has reopened between Yellowknife and Behchokǫ̀ after a collision led to a four-hour closure on Thanksgiving Monday.

Several residents reported an incident involving a semi truck and a white passenger vehicle. The territory’s Department of Infrastructure confirmed the road had been closed at 11:15am.

It’s not known if anyone was hurt.

Just after 3pm, the department said by Twitter the road had reopened, though with one lane only for the time being.

The department warned drivers should expect delays until around 6pm.
