Fort Simpson RCMP say they have charged an Edmonton man after seizing drugs and money from a home in the Dehcho community.

In a news release on Wednesday, police said the search had taken place on Saturday at an unidentified location in Fort Simpson. Ismail Hassan Farah, 23, was arrested and charged.

According to RCMP, items found during the search included a digital scale with suspected cocaine residue, an unspecified quantity of crack cocaine, and around $1,900.

Charges are pending for two more suspects, RCMP added, though those suspects were not named.
