The Pehdzeh Ki First Nation in Wrigley will hold an election for the positions of chief and six councillors on November 16.
Nominations opened on October 23 and are set to close on October 29. Candidates will be notified before November 6 and the election will have an advanced poll on November 13, the First Nation stated.
Meanwhile, three directors for the Aklavik Community Corporation will also be elected on December 9.
Nominations open October 28 and close on November 25, with nomination forms available at the community corporation’s office during its hours of operation.
The positions are two-year terms.
Those eligible to vote can do so at the David “Buck” Storr Building from 9am until 8pm on December 9.
