The online reservation system for all NWT Parks campgrounds, with one exception, opened for business on Wednesday morning.
Campsites in all parks except Yellowknife’s Fred Henne Territorial park began accepting bookings at 10am MT. Reservations from Fred Henne open on Thursday at the same time.

In the past, an opening-day surge of bookings has seen the reservations system temporarily crash. As of 10:20am on Wednesday the system was working well but, if you experience technical issues, you can call 867-445-1717 or email support@nwtparks.ca for assistance.

The territory’s parks welcomed more than 35,000 campers in 2017, up by 20 percent on the previous year.
