The Northwest Territories government and the territory’s teacher’s association have reached a tentative agreement.

Negotiations between the two parties have been ongoing since May 17.

According to a Tuesday press release, both parties are “pleased” with the progress they have made and are recommending that the agreement be ratified.

Details of the tentative agreement will not be publicly released until the ratification process is completed.
