Firefighters in Yellowknife were called to a fire at EMCO on Old Airport Road late on Wednesday.

Photographs from the scene, taken once a fire crew had arrived, depicted the remains of a fire burning to the rear of the facility.

Allen Webb, of EMCO, told Cabin Radio: “The fire was caught early and there is no major damage.”

EMCO occupies a location close to the Co-op on Old Airport Road, in a commercial and industrial area of the city.
