RCMP in Inuvik say they have made an arrest following a report of shots fired in the town on Thursday morning.
In a brief statement published later in the afternoon, police said they were called to a home near Alder Street at 10:45am and made an arrest inside.
No details of the incident were provided nor any identifying information about the suspect. Police did not confirm whether any gunfire had actually occurred, describing it only as an “alleged firearms occurrence.”
RCMP did, however, say nobody was hurt. Their investigation is continuing.
