The body of missing Behchokǫ̀ man Jermaine Camsell has been found in nearby Marian Lake, ending a four-day search for the 21-year-old.
Jermaine was last seen in Behchokǫ̀ at around 5:30pm on Saturday.
In a news release issued on Thursday, RCMP said his body had been discovered in Marian Lake at around 7:30pm on Wednesday evening.
Behchokǫ̀’s search and rescue team and police officers recovered the body. A post-mortem will now take place.
Police did not speculate on what may have happened to Jermaine or his cause of death. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier, volunteers helping the search reported finding Jermaine’s jacket and footprints believed to belong to him.
