Jim Taylor’s Northeast
Proudly supported by Bullocks Bistro and the Wildcat Cafe.
Legendary Yellowknife musician Jim Taylor hosts an hour-long exploration of what it means to be an East Coaster in Canada’s North.
Each week, Jim’s latest guest walks him through their life story and how they came to be an NWT resident.
Take in the twists and turns to a soundtrack of East Coast greats, and sometimes even Jim himself at the mic.
Jim Taylor’s Northeast is brought to you by Bullocks Bistro and the Wildcat Cafe.
Bullocks Bistro has been around for 27 years, located in the Old Town in a historic building that’s been here since 1936 – serving fresh, locally caught fish from Great Slave Lake, alongside fish from Kakisa and from Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.
There’s fresh bread made in-house twice daily and served with all meals. Sauces are made in-house, too. In fact, so is everything else except the ketchup!
Although it’s a family friendly fish restaurant, they do serve a wicked bison ribeye.
New for 2019, Bullocks Bistro’s owners are taking over the reins at the Wildcat Cafe. Stay tuned to Northeast for more details!
Cabin Radio and Bullocks Bistro are delighted to partner up to present Jim Taylor’s Northeast.
