United Way Northwest Territories has announced the 2025 recipients of grants from its Community Investment Fund.
In a Tuesday press release, the charity said it had awarded $205,000 to 21 non-profits and community organizations across the NWT.
United Way said funded initiatives address a range of issues including food security, housing, youth programming, cultural wellness and emergency support.
“Every one of these incredible initiatives reflects the strength, care, and resilience that exists across northern communities,” stated Ben Linaker, chair of United Way NWT’s board.
