Like half the people born here, Mornings at the Cabin host Jesse Wheeler worked at Yellowknife’s Capitol Theatre in his youth.
On the theatre’s last night before closing, Wheeler lined up for a ticket alongside hundreds of other people.
Whether a movie theatre might eventually reopen in Yellowknife isn’t clear. It’s possible Tuesday was the last time anyone will experience this kind of night out in the city.
