Yellowknife RCMP say woman reported missing found safe

RCMP say a 47-year-old woman from Tsiigehtchic who had been reported missing has been found safe.

In a Monday news release, police asked for the public’s help locating the woman who RCMP said was last seen in Yellowknife on Wednesday, April 22.

RCMP said officers and the woman’s family were worried about her wellbeing.

In an update on Monday afternoon, police said the woman had been located safe and thanked the public for their help.
