Women taken into custody after Fort Providence man’s death

Two women have been taken into police custody after the death of a man in Fort Providence.

RCMP say they were called to a residence in the community at around 10pm on Monday night, where they found the man.

His death is under investigation by the Fort Providence RCMP and the G Division Major Crimes Unit. They are receiving support from the G Division Forensic Identification Unit, police said.

Charges have yet to be laid.
