A Vancouver-based casting company says it is seeking an Inuit man aged 16-22 for “a leading role in a feature film.”
Kris and Kara Casting says the movie will be shot in Nunavut and British Columbia in 2025.
The role is a paid opportunity and no acting experience is required, the casting agency added. The person selected must be based in Canada.
More instructions can be found via an online application form.
As is normally the case when casting roles like these, there are virtually no details available about the movie itself or its plot.
If you can’t access the online form, you can also email the casting agency.
Applicants should be able to speak English, the form states. The ability to speak Inuktitut is not a requirement.
The successful candidate will be expected to be available during March-April 2025 for filming in Nunavut and October-November the same year for a shoot in BC.
