Snowkings’ Winter Festival has released its full schedule of events for the 2025 edition. Tickets for evening events go on sale at noon on Friday, January 31.
Organizers of the festival – which stages events inside a giant Snowcastle built on the frozen Yellowknife Bay – are releasing 150 tickets for each evening session.
A second round of tickets will be made available on February 21, then a limited number will be sold at the gate each day of the festival from March 1-28.
The schedule released on Friday shows the castle’s opening ceremony taking place at noon on Saturday, March 1 followed by Leela Gilday playing the Blizzard Bash in the Snowcastle that evening.

Tuesday, March 4: Wamp’s Frozen Dog Film Festival.
Friday, March 7: Cabin Fever Reliever with Teafannie, Troublesome 96.
Saturday, March 8: Royal Ball with Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys and Andrea Bettger. This is also Fur Day, which in the past has been used to promote the NWT’s fur industry at the Snowcastle.

Wednesday, March 19: King’s Comedy Night with Sarah Stupar, Emily Blake, Mike the Plumber, Shylo Ember and Mason Mantla.
Thursday, March 20: The Oddball with Skye Wallace and Amy & the Easy Hundo.
Friday, March 21 at 8pm: Sizzling Soiree XXX with Parkas & Pasties. (XXX serves two roles here: it’s also the festival’s 30th edition.)
