Applications are now being accepted for NWT students pursuing early learning and childcare studies to pick up territorial scholarships.

The scholarships, issued by the NWT government, are available to part-time and full-time post-secondary students.

Part-time students are eligible for up to $500 per course, with a maximum of $2,500 per school year. Full-time students are eligible for up to $5,000 per school year.

“The scholarship is for NWT students enrolled in a diploma or degree program with a direct focus in early childhood development at accredited post-secondary institutions. In-person or online programs are accepted,” the GNWT stated in a press release this week.

The application deadline is September 30.
