The Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce has published the list of nominees for its 2025 Yellowknife business awards.
Winners will be named at a gala held at the Chateau Nova Hotel on Friday, October 24.
There are 10 categories. This year, the customer service award – also known as the people’s choice award, delivered through an online vote – features no fewer than 26 nominees.
Nineteen businesses are contesting the Trailblazers Women in Business award, while the Breakout New Business category has 16 nominees.
Aurora Technical Services, an electrical and instrumentation contractor, is nominated six times across the categories. Fuel supplier Midnight Petroleum and heavy equipment repair firm YB Services each have five nominations.

Businesses have to be chamber members to receive a nomination and can’t be nominated in a category if they won it in the past two years.
