The Western Canada Lottery Corporation has identified a person who won $100,000 after purchasing a $5 “scratch and win” ticket in Yellowknife.
Raymond Soldat was a winner in January after purchasing a ticket from the KT Smoke & Gift Shop on 49 Street, the corporation stated.
Soldat was quoted as saying he’ll use some of the cash on a new vehicle.
The lottery corporation says it publicizes the names of major winners to demonstrate the integrity of its games and show that a wide range of people win.
