Police in Fort Providence are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of breaking into a home in February.
In a Friday news release, RCMP said that between midnight and 1:30am on February 2, a suspect entered a home in Fort Providence through a window.
Residents were not home at the time, the RCMP said.

Police say they obtained images of the suspect through video surveillance inside the residence.
“The Fort Providence RCMP hopes that members of the public will recognize the suspect and come forward, which could assist with the investigation,” the news release stated.
Police have asked anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspect to contact the Fort Providence detachment at 867-699-1111 or leave a message via Crime Stoppers.
