The Lakeshore Co-op in Yellowknife will hold an in-store Easter food drive on Saturday to support the YWCA NWT.
The store says 650 hampers have been prepared “based on the needs identified by YWCA NWT.”
Customers in the store on Saturday can purchase a hamper for donation to the charity. “Each one goes directly to families connected with the YWCA here in Yellowknife,” the store stated.
The Co-op said it will also make a financial contribution to YWCA NWT as part of the event.
