Yellowknife MLAs Kieron Testart and Robert Hawkins have scheduled a follow-up town hall meeting on public safety for later this month.

The two held a public meeting in February to discuss community safety and crime prevention.

The follow-up will take place at the Tree of Peace Friendship Centre from 6-8:30pm on Monday, May 25.

This time, territorial justice minister Jay Macdonald is expected to attend alongside RCMP representatives.

“I encourage everyone with concerns, ideas, or lived experience to attend,” Hawkins was quoted as saying in a press release.
