Police in Ulukhaktok say they’re asking for help locating a 46-year-old wanted on “several serious charges” who could be in Yellowknife or the Toronto area.
In a Monday news release, RCMP said Chris Banksland is accused of assault and sexual assault.
He is described as being approximately 5 ft 7 in tall with black hair and brown eyes.
“Chris Banksland could be either in Yellowknife or in Toronto area, ON. The RCMP believes that he is actively evading police and is asking for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Ulukhaktok RCMP at 867-396-1111,” police stated.
