A Chevrolet Cruze caught fire in downtown Yellowknife on Monday evening, sending a small smoke plume across a few blocks as firefighters responded.

One fire truck and a municipal enforcement vehicle quickly arrived at the scene in an alley behind the offices of NNSL, home to the Yellowknifer newspaper, on 50 Street.
