Red Dress Day March

Join the Red Dress Day lunchtime walk and community lunch to acknowledge and honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA People.

Meet at the MMIWG monument at the Legislative Assembly to gather, reflect, and learn. The event opens with the Yellowknives Dene Drummers and guest speakers, followed by a walk through the downtown core to Northern United Place for connection, lunch, and door prizes.

Co-hosted by NWT Native Women’s Association, NWT & Nunavut Council of Friendship Centres, Yellowknife Women’s Society, YWCA NWT, and Saht’ea Adze Beadwork.
