A fish fry organized by the NWT Culinary Festival and North Slave Métis Alliance was hastily moved from Somba K’e Park to Yellowknife’s multiplex to help feed evacuees.
Hundreds of people fled to Yellowknife from Behchokǫ̀ after a wildfire reached the community earlier this week.
