The City of Yellowknife has launched an online survey for residents to provide feedback on the municipality’s response to the 2023 wildfire season.
The city has hired consulting firm KPMG to conduct a review, known as an after action assessment, of its emergency response with the aim of better preparing for potential future wildfires. The city said the survey results will help inform that review.
The survey closes on April 12.
Residents can also provide feedback in person at a public engagement session scheduled to take place on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the multiplex gym.
