NWT businesses can now access grants of up to $15,100 for “digital projects” that help move what they do online.

Prosper NWT says it now has an extra $534,000 from federal economic development agency CanNor over three years, topping up an existing fund being used to accelerate digital adoption.

If your business is in Yellowknife, Ndılǫ, Fort Smith, Hay River or Inuvik, you can access up to $12,700. That sums rises to $15,100 for other NWT communities.

Prosper NWT was until recently the Business Development and Investment Corporation, or BDIC. It changed its name in part to avoid confusion with the federal BDC, which does similar work.

If you have a project that increases your business’s online presence, boosts e-commerce or otherwise turns an analog operation into a digital one, you can apply via the Prosper NWT website.
