You may never get to jump from a plane over Yellowknife. You may not really want to, but you might still want to know how it looks.

Here’s a video to answer that question.

On Friday, we brought you the tale of Cabin Radio intern Claire McFarlane’s jump with the SkyHawks over Yellowknife as the elite parachute demonstration team prepared for a performance above the city.

Now, here’s footage from the jump itself.

Video filmed by a member of the SkyHawks team shows Claire preparing for the jump before being thrown from the plane and making her way back to the ground.

During the jump, there are some stunning views of Yellowknife on a bright summer’s day to enjoy.
