The Town of Inuvik says the 2024 Fiddle and Flow Festival will take place in mid-August in partnership with the Inuvik Community Events Society.

The annual event began in 2022 to bring together musicians from across the Beaufort Delta for a three-day celebration.

In a Wednesday announcement, the town said the 2024 edition will be held from August 16-18 at the Chief Jim Koe Park.

“We are pleased to announce that we have once again partnered with the Inuvik Community Events Society who will be taking the lead coordination role, with the support of Town of Inuvik staff and resources,” the town wrote.

“With years of collective experience organizing and delivering community-based events, we are confident that together, the Town of Inuvik and the Inuvik Community Events Society will be great partners for another fantastic Fiddle & Flow Festival.”

You can still apply to perform at the festival. Applications are being accepted until the end of Friday this week.

Organizers say accommodation, travel costs and a small performer’s fee are covered.
