NWT RCMP say they have arrested a man who was the subject of a public appeal after being charged with multiple assaults and sexual assaults.
Last week, Fort Smith police asked for help locating Dallas Abraham, who RCMP said is accused of sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of sexual assault, six counts of assault with a weapon and two other assault-related charges, among other offences.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest, police said at the time.
On Tuesday, RCMP confirmed Abraham had been arrested in Fort Smith at approximately 9:45pm on Monday.
The charges against Abraham have yet to be proven in court.
