Wild Rose fairs return to the Northwest Territories in August and September with fairs in Yellowknife, Behchokǫ̀, Hay River and Fort Smith.
Wild Rose Shows, which calls itself “Alberta’s first family of the carnival,” has included the NWT on its annual travelling circuit for years.
In 2025, the company will hold fairs in the northern Alberta town of High Level on August 15-17, then in Hay River from August 22-24.
The Yellowknife fair will take place over a full eight days, from August 29-September 1 and again from September 4-7.
The fair stops in Behchokǫ̀ from September 10-12, according to Wild Rose’s website, and heads to Fort Smith from September 18-21.
Yellowknife’s venue is the fieldhouse parking lot. Tickets range from $1 for an orange single ticket through to $65 for an all-day wristband. Each ride is four to nine tickets per person, per ride.
Wild Rose’s website lists 13 major rides and attractions coming to the Yellowknife fair.
