Ragged Ass Swing Band is hoping to get people on the dance floor this Valentine’s Day.
The Yellowknife swing band is putting on a love-inspired show at the Chateau Nova on Saturday, February 14.
The band is set to play three sets with a range of music dating back nearly 100 years through the classic swing eras and Sinatra-esque songsters.
“Come in your finery or in your long-johns – we will play our best for you!” the band promises in a press release.
Doors are set to open at 7pm. Ahead of the show there will be a dance lesson at 7:30pm led by Yellowknife’s Lindy Hop instructor Amanda Kanbari with music starting at 8pm.
