Yellowknife’s signature March festival is looking for more residents to get involved.
Snowkings’ Winter Festival issued an appeal for volunteers on Tuesday, pointing anyone interested to contact information on the festival website.
“Now is the time to get involved,” the festival stated in a press release, adding volunteers get free entry to a festival event for every shift worked alongside Snowking swag and an invite to the afterparty.
“There are many exciting roles to be fulfilled including attending the legendary Ice Slides, Courtyard, supervising events in the Dancehall and operating the ticket booth,” organizers stated.
“Volunteers can pick evening or daytime shifts that work around their schedule. It takes all kinds and Snowking XXXI needs you. Come make this year the greatest of all!”
