NWT ticket wins $100,000 in Lotto Max Extra draw

A ticket bought somewhere in the Northwest Territories won its owner $100,000 in last Friday’s Lotto Max Extra draw, organizers say.

In a Monday news release, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation said a ticket bought in the NWT matched the winning Extra number for the May 1, 2026 draw: 6325523.

The winner has one year to claim their prize.

Ordinarily, the corporation’s website lists Yellowknife as the winning location if the ticket was bought in the city.

Listing “Northwest Territories” – which the corporation did for Friday’s win – usually means the ticket was bought in a smaller NWT community.
